San Antonio-born actor Ricardo Chavira, who graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word before his television career took off, is headed to the Broadway stage this year.<\/p>\n
Chavira has joined the\u00a0cast of the upcoming world premiere Broadway production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s “The Balusters,” entertainment industry news website\u00a0Deadline reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n The play is described as “a raucous, wild ride through a small community with big feelings,” according to Deadline, and centers on a “neighbor-versus-neighbor battle royale.” The production also stars Tony Award winner Ren\u00e9e Elise Goldsberry (“Hamilton”) and Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas, of “The Waltons” fame.
