{"id":493635,"date":"2026-01-05T08:03:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T08:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/493635\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T08:03:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T08:03:10","slug":"pedestrian-serriously-hurt-in-downtown-toronto-hit-and-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/493635\/","title":{"rendered":"Pedestrian serriously hurt in downtown Toronto hit-and-run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A pedestrian has been seriously injured follow a hit-and-run crash in downtown Toronto on Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The collision happened near Queens Park Crescent and St. Joseph Crescent, south of Bloor Street West.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to that area around 8:40 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They say the driver did not remain at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said the pedestrian was taken transported to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators are describing the suspect vehicle as a dark grey, newer model SUV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Currently, northbound Queens Park Crescent is closed at St. Joseph Street.
