The Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> are a couple of steps away from becoming a true dynasty, and signing Edwin Diaz made them a step closer to having a super bullpen. However, there\u2019s another pitcher they could grab that would be the final step.<\/p>\n

According to Fansided\u2019s Zachary Rotman<\/a>, the Dodgers could trade for Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> All-Star reliever Trevor Megill, as he could be the final piece in making a super bullpen.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dodgers have already signed Diaz, the best reliever in the sport arguably, but considering how lackluster the bullpen was this past season, Los Angeles might benefit from adding another arm. While most of the impactful free agent relievers are off the board, the Dodgers could look at the trade market and try to poach Trevor Megill from the Milwaukee Brewers\u2026Adding Megill to a ‘pen that includes the likes of Diaz, Alex Vesia, and bounce-back candidates Tanner Scott and Blake Treinen, the Dodgers’ bullpen can quickly go from worst to first, or close to it,\u201d Rotman wrote.<\/p>\n

This past season, Megill posted a 6-3 record, a 2.49 ERA, 60 Ks, a WHIP of 1.128, and 30 saves in 50 games. He also earned his first All-Star nod with this performance.<\/p>\n

Having Diaz and Megill finish off games would be elite for the Dodgers. Especially when their offense is so explosive, the other team would have no chance of a comeback due to their stellar pitching staff.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, for Dodgers fans, L.A. finds a way to make this proposal a reality. For all other MLB fans, hopefully not.<\/p>\n
