{"id":494157,"date":"2026-01-05T13:29:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T13:29:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/494157\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T13:29:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T13:29:26","slug":"kith-store-on-regent-street-informed-by-bones-of-the-raw-space","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/494157\/","title":{"rendered":"Kith store on Regent Street informed by &#8220;bones of the raw space&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American fashion brand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/kith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kith<\/a> has collaborated with Porto Architecture to create the interiors for its flagship store on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/london\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London<\/a>&#8216;s Regent Street, complete with a classic New York bistro.<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/kith.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOorzYHrpRYnyvj7iaoqhdRKuepk42yhRUCPGFtKF9nB2dxTDdqvB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kith<\/a>&#8216;s first standalone store in the UK, founder Ronnie Fieg aimed to create a space that showcased the brand but was unique to London. It also includes the brand&#8217;s first restaurant, named Ronnie&#8217;s after its founder.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2282607 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-store-london-regent-street_dezeen_2364_col_34-852x639.jpg\" alt=\"Kith flagship store on Regent Street\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1773\"  \/>Kith&#8217;s flagship store has opened on Regent Street<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With every new space, I want to evolve and elevate our design language while maintaining a red thread through all of our flagships,&#8221; Fieg told Dezeen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The experience you have in our London store will feel distinct from the one in New York, Seoul or Paris, yet each will still feel distinctly Kith. Most importantly, it&#8217;s the best of everything we have to offer in one space.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2282599 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-store-london-regent-street_dezeen_2364_col_26-852x1136.jpg\" alt=\"Kith Treats in London \" width=\"1773\" height=\"2364\"  \/>The entrance is flanked by\u00a0Kith Treats and Kith\u00a0Kids<\/p>\n<p>The Kith store occupies two floors of a large, neo-baroque building on Regent Street that dates from the 1920s. New York firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.portoarc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Porto Architecture<\/a> and Fieg were informed by the block&#8217;s remaining original fixtures for the design of the flagship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I first walked into the unfinished space almost two years ago, I immediately fell in love with its existing elements and how the interior resonated with the history and architecture of the street it was on,&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So the core concept of the design was rooted in working backwards from the beautiful trims and bones of the raw space, and figuring out how to incorporate our palette and materiality into the history of the building.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2282600 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-store-london-regent-street_dezeen_2364_col_27-852x1136.jpg\" alt=\"Kith\u00a0Kids in London store\" width=\"1773\" height=\"2364\"  \/>The spaces are united by a fan mosaic<\/p>\n<p>Each of the store&#8217;s main spaces was defined by its own material and colour palette, with Kith&#8217;s crest integrated throughout the interiors\u00a0along with satin brass trimmings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Existing elements like the ceiling gave us the opportunity to design into the foundation in a way that makes it feel like we&#8217;ve always been there,&#8221; said Fieg.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Incorporating our K&amp;K crest into the ceiling and adding brass inlays along the moulding are examples of how we were able to weave our DNA into the space in a cohesive and seamless way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2282585 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-store-london-regent-street_dezeen_2364_col_12-852x568.jpg\" alt=\"Kith Women in London Regent's Street store\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1577\"  \/>The Kith Women area has a bright aesthetic<\/p>\n<p>The store&#8217;s main entrance is flanked by a pair of original, curved glass windows that overlook the Kith\u00a0Kids and\u00a0Kith Treats spaces on either side.<\/p>\n<p>Both spaces are united by a custom fan mosaic, with the children&#8217;s areas arranged around an Estremoz marble seat and lit with cloud-like lamps. Kith Treats has a muted pastel palette with a Volakas marble-topped bar.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2024\/02\/17\/kith-women-flagship-soho-new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"191\" height=\"191\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-women-soho_dezeen_sq1-191x191.jpg\" class=\"excludeLightbox wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" data-pin-nopin=\"true\"  \/><\/p>\n<p> Kith Women Flagship in Soho combines walnut and pink marble\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ground floor contains the bright Kith Women area and dark spaces for seasonal collections and jewellery.<\/p>\n<p>The Kith Women space combines an oak herringbone floor, Estremoz marble-lined walls, white oak millwork and Crystal Tiffany marble. In contrast, the other space combines dark herringbone floors, Belvedere marble walls and walnut millwork.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our men&#8217;s section blends dark and light with black and white marble, which then transitions into the women&#8217;s section \u2013 a much brighter area that pairs white oak with shades of pink, blue, and white marble,&#8221; explained Fieg.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2282577 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/kith-store-london-regent-street_dezeen_2364_col_4-852x568.jpg\" alt=\"Kith London store\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1577\"  \/>Kith&#8217;s seasonal collections are displayed on the ground floor<\/p>\n<p>Accessed from the street and from the store, Ronnie&#8217;s is the brand&#8217;s first restaurant.
