Anker is gearing up to announce what it calls \u201cthe world\u2019s first smart hybrid whole-home backup solution.\u201d The system, called the Solix E10, will be on display at CES 2026<\/a>, but the company is keeping mum about specifics.<\/p>\n

Anker has been in the home power solutions space with its Solix brand for a few years, in the form of scalable systems that use gigantic, modular batteries (similar to the DJI Power 2000<\/a>) and are rechargeable via the power coming into your home, but that also work with solar panels. These systems can range in price from $4,000 to $6,500 or more, depending on what options you pick and whether you want to add solar panels, assuming you don\u2019t already have a roof covered in them<\/p>\n

Anker\u2019s use of the word \u201chybrid\u201d implies there\u2019s some other component involved. It\u2019s hard to tell what that might be from the images the company provided, though, which show what looks like a large battery backup, a boxy panel that looks like a fancier version of the panel that Anker includes with its existing Solix F3800 kit<\/a>, and two other mysterious modules.<\/p>\n

The company says it will be revealing more about the system on January 12 at 1 p.m. ET \/ 10 a.m.PT, including \u201cfull technical specifications and features.\u201d Until then, we\u2019ll just have to look, and speculate.<\/p>\n
