A male suspect with non-life-threating injuries has been placed under arrest. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Two people have been taken to the hospital following a stabbing in Toronto\u2019s west end on Monday afternoon, paramedics say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened at a house on Jerome Street, near Dundas Street West, just south of Dupont Street. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">That residence is now sealed off with police tape as the investigation continues inside. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Detectives are also going door to door, speaking with area residents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to the area just after 3 p.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Once on scene, officers found a female victim with stab wounds. She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Paramedics later told CTV News Toronto that they transported two adults to the hospital: one in serious condition and the other in minor condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police later said a male suspect was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TPSOperations\/status\/2008289132158611962?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TPSOperations\/status\/2008289132158611962?s=20\">further update<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Victim, suspect both in their 70s: police <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators have since identified the victim as a woman in her 70s, who has non-life-threatening injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect, they say, is a man in his 70s.
