The Texas Department of Public Safety helped Addison officials in stopping the suspect vehicle, officials say.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the Addison Police Department, the pursuit began at about 8:30 p.m. Monday near Airport Parkway and Dallas North Tollway following the aggravated assault of a police officer during a traffic stop.<\/p>\n<p>DPS troopers took over the pursuit once the suspect left Addison, police said. The chase then ended on the tollway near Parker Road in Plano.<\/p>\n<p>No other details were immediately available. WFAA has reached out to the Texas Department of Public Safety and Addison police for more information.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
