\n\tJimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live returned last night after the holiday break and host Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity to recap all of the \u201ccrazy stuff\u201d Donald Trump<\/a> did while the show was away. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt would take a nine-part Ken Burns documentary series to cover it all,\u201d Kimmel noted. \u201cBut I\u2019m going to do my best to boil it down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel reminded viewers that Trump hosted the the Kennedy Center Honors, which aired in December to notably low ratings. \u201cAfter boasting about what a great host he is and how much better he is than I am and how huge his ratings would be, Trump hosted the lowest rated Kennedy Center Honors telecast of all time,\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cI\u2019d hate to be the White House intern who had to tear that headline out of all the papers and eat \u2019em. You know, as I recall, he said he\u2019d step down if this happened, right? He said, \u2018If I can\u2019t beat out Jimmy Kimmel, then I don\u2019t think I should be president.\u2019 Hey, a deal is a deal. Back to Mar-a-Lago you go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel then noted that since Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a> left for its break Trump posted on Truth Social 556 times. \u201cBehold the ramblings of a madman,\u201d he said, displaying all of the social media posts on a video wall behind him. \u201cHe was in an especially festive mood on Christmas Eve.\u201d That evening, Trump threatened to \u201cterminate\u201d the broadcast licenses of news networks and late-night shows. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is the vision of sugar plums that are dancing in his head as he goes to sleep,\u201d Kimmel quipped. Trump then posted, \u201cMerry Christmas to all, including the many sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLeave it to Trump to wish Merry Christmas to himself,\u201d Kimmel responded. Trump closed his Christmas Eve post with, \u201cEnjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas.\u201d \u201cWhat is he trying to tell us?\u201d Kimmel asked. \u201cHe\u2019s going down? He\u2019s taking us with him? I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in his monologue, Kimmel recounted how Trump enlisted Vanilla Ice to perform at his New Year\u2019s Eve party for the third time in five years. \u201cWhich is a lot of times for a guy with one song,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cWhat year were they ringing in? 1991?\u201d<\/p>\n
