Before the 2015 Paris Agreement called for this energy transition, experts had forecast 4\u00b0C planetary warming by 2100; now they expect it to stay <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worldweatherattribution.org\/ten-years-of-the-paris-agreement-the-present-and-future-of-extreme-heat\/\" target=\"_blank\" dir=\"ltr\" rel=\"noopener\">under 3\u00b0C<\/a>, according to a recent report by World Weather Attribution, a climate research group. But even this target \u201cwould still lead to a dangerously hot planet,\u201d the report states.
