Carrie Bickmore has opened up about a “bad day” that left her in tears on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The TV personality took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to share a rare glimpse into her personal life, assuring struggling fans that they’re not alone.<\/p>\n

“Some days are good days. Some days are bad days. This was me yesterday,’ she captioned the snap, which showed her teary-eyed with mascara running down her face as she lay in bed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“If you are having a tough day, you are absolutely not the only one.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 45-year-old then went on to post the picture to her Instagram page in the hopes that others working through a rough patch could come together.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Posted this pic to my stories and got flooded with people having bad days too. So I thought I\u2019d post it here and you can add a \u2018bad day here too\u2019 comment and we can all drown in our flatness together and not feel alone,” she shared in the caption.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Tomorrow is a new day,” she finished off the post, which has garnered nearly 18,000 likes.<\/p>\n

Famous friends of the former Project host poured into the comments section with words of support.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Oh no. This made me cry. I feel you. Tomorrow is always a new day. Btw you have the cutest cry face,” Love Island host Sophie Monk wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tennis champ Jelena Dokic penned: “Stay strong lovely. You got this. Sending you lots of light, love and hugs.”<\/p>\n

“Mia carrita,” No Filter podcast host Kate Langbroek shared.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The worrying post comes after Bickmore revealed she was being prescribed antidepressants in March last year.<\/p>\n

She made the candid admission on the Hit Network’s drive radio show, Carrie & Tommy.<\/p>\n

Bickmore revealed that she was seeing a psychologist and acknowledged what a privilege it was to have access to professional support.<\/p>\n

“I know (it’s) not available to everybody,” she admitted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The TV star then went on to share the other avenues she had taken to improve her mental health.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I try and exercise because I feel that really helps my head but trying to do that when you’re feeling crap is really hard,” she said.<\/p>\n
