Police said it happened at about 4:30 p.m. at a retail store in the 10800 block of Westheimer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to police, the suspect walked into the wine section of the store, removed a couple of wine bottles, and hid them in his jacket. The man then walked out without trying to pay for the bottles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said the suspect was confronted by a store employee, and the suspect hit the employee on the head, causing serious bodily injury, and fled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact 713-222-TIPS (8477) and refer to case No. 1596581-25.<br class=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KTRK-TV.
