A Chicago special education teacher has disappeared without a trace, sparking fear as her husband and family desperately plead for her safe return.<\/p>\n
Linda Brown, 53, was last seen Saturday afternoon in the 4500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Bronzeville, about two miles southwest of the White Sox\u2019s Rate Field, driving a blue 2021 Honda Civic to her weekly acupuncture appointment before she vanished, police said<\/a>.<\/p>\n Her husband, Antwon Brown, said they had a quiet night together at home watching a movie before she went to bed early.<\/p>\n Special education teacher Linda Brown was last seen Saturday afternoon heading to an acupuncture appointment before she vanished. Chicago Teachers Union<\/p>\n \u201cI woke up at 8:45 a.m., and she was gone,\u201d he told Fox 32<\/a>.<\/p>\n After hours passed with no word from her, Antwon and her family realized she never made it to her acupuncture appointment and could not be reached by phone \u2014 something they said is entirely out of character for Brown \u2014 and reported her missing to police.<\/p>\n Chicago police said in a bulletin that the public school teacher may need medical attention.<\/p>\n Brown, a special education educator at Robert Healy Elementary School, had her phone, purse and credit cards with her when she headed to the appointment.<\/p>\n Police said attempts to track her vehicle have turned up no leads and have provided no indication of her whereabouts.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m broke down. I don\u2019t know what to do. I\u2019ve done everything,\u201d Antwon said. \u201cI\u2019m talking to people, we\u2019ve got people searching for her.
