\n\tSarah Jessica Parker<\/a> isn\u2019t saying no to anymore \u201cSex and the City<\/a>,\u201d but it doesn\u2019t sound like she\u2019ll be reprising Carrie Bradshaw anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\n\tSJP told me Tuesday at the Golden Eve gala in Beverly Hills that she\u2019s up for reprising her beloved fashion-obsessed character, but it all depends on one person and one person only \u2013 \u201cSex and the City\u201d creator Michael Patrick King.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI hear lots of very original ideas, all lovely and well intentioned and often very clever, but the only thing that really matters is what excites Michael Patrick King. And right now he\u2019s just not thinking about that,\u201d Parker said.<\/p>\n

\n\tParker made a rare appearance on the West Coast to be honored at the starry Golden Eve dinner and awards ceremony with the Carol Burnett Award. She hit the carpet with husband Matthew Broderick and their actor son James Wilkie Broderick before reuniting with \u201cSex and the City\u201d costars Kristen Davis, Evan Handler and David Eigenberg.<\/p>\n

\n\tParker also offered an update on the much-anticipated third installment of the \u201cHocus Pocus<\/a>\u201d franchise. \u201cThey\u2019re working on it,\u201d Parker said. \u201cWhere Better [Midler] goes, I go. Bette is like a 13-year-old girl with a new bike. She\u2019s like, \u2018I have wheels, let us travel.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd then there\u2019s the ongoing efforts to make a sequel to \u201cThe Family Stone<\/a>,\u201d which co-starred the late Diane Keaton.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so excited\u2026but it\u2019s a rather bittersweet quandary given the loss of Diane Keaton,\u201d Parker said. \u201cBut it was a very special group of actors, and prior to Diane\u2019s passing, there had been conversations with everybody, so I hope that we\u2019ll be able to. The hardest thing is everybody\u2019s schedules.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGolden Eve also presented the Cecil B. DeMille Award to Helen Mirren.<\/p>\n
