The Daily Show\u2019s Ronny Chieng tore into White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller for his defense of Donald Trump\u2019s invasion of Venezuela<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Around 2 a.m. Saturday, Trump sent in special ops forces to bomb Venezuela\u2019s capital city of Caracas and abduct its president, Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, without congressional approval.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe we don\u2019t need religion or f—ed up breakfast metaphors to explain why Trump kidnapped Maduro,\u201d Chieng said in his monologue Tuesday. <\/p>\n

Chieng continued, \u201cBecause last night we heard from Stephen Miller: Trump\u2019s deputy secretary and guy who didn\u2019t go bald\u2014it just never came in in the first place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chieng showed an interview clip<\/a> of Miller on The Lead with Jake Tapper, where Miller explained why Trump is intervening in Venezuela. <\/p>\n

Miller explained that America\u2019s status as a global \u201csuperpower\u201d allows Trump to do whatever he wants to Venezuela: <\/p>\n

\u201cYou can talk all you want about international niceties and everything else,\u201d Miller told Tapper, \u201cBut we live in… the real world, Jake. That is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

As the audience booed, Chieng jokingly took Miller\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, shut up,\u201d Chieng told his viewers. \u201cYou heard this f—ing dweeb, alright?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what a superpower looks like now,\u201d Chieng said about Miller. \u201cA guy whose head looks like a f—ed up circumcision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chieng continued, \u201cAmerica can stop pretending to be the nice guy, and nobody\u2019s more excited to be the bully for a change than Stephen Miller.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chieng showed more from Miller\u2019s interview with Tapper. When Tapper said incredulously that the Trump administration had \u201cseized the leader of Venezuela,\u201d Miller replied sassily, \u201cDamn straight we did!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDamn straight we did!\u201d Chieng mocked. \u201cI can swear whenever I want. I don\u2019t give a d— s— what my parents say, b—h.\u201d<\/p>\n
