HOUSTON \u2014 A man’s body was found in a bayou in downtown Houston on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Houston police said the discovery was made in Buffalo Bayou along Commerce Street between Fannin and North Main by a cleaning crew that was doing maintenance at a park along the bayou.<\/p>\n
HPD said they got the call just before 2 p.m.<\/p>\n
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to gather evidence.<\/p>\n
According to investigators at the scene, there were no obvious signs of trauma, and they don’t believe foul play was involved. They said the man’s body didn’t appear to have been there for long and was fully clothed.<\/p>\n
The medical examiner’s office will determine how the man died.
