{"id":499713,"date":"2026-01-07T20:35:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T20:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/499713\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T20:35:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T20:35:10","slug":"woman-identified-after-fatal-shooting-by-security-guard-in-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/499713\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman identified after fatal shooting by security guard in Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Officials have identified a woman who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/crime\/2026\/01\/01\/woman-killed-by-security-guard-after-confrontation-in-fort-worth-police-say\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fatally shot Sunday<\/a> by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dallas-fortworth\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fort Worth<\/a> security guard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Crystal Lynn Murphy, 39, died Sunday at about 6:06 p.m. in a parking lot in the 2600 block of South Riverside Drive, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">When officers arrived at the scene, police said they learned a security guard at the location had shot the woman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">According to police, the confrontation began when the security guard told the woman to leave the property.
