\n\tIt\u2019s been 10 years since Bruno Mars<\/a>\u2018 seminal record, 24K Magic <\/a>\u2014 and now, his highly anticipated fourth solo album, titled The Romantic, is finally ready. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday, Jan. 7, Mars revealed the album\u2019s Feb. 27 release date, as well as its cover. He also said new music would arrive on Friday, Jan. 9.<\/p>\n

\n\tMars confirmed The Romantic just a couple days after revealing that he had completed his upcoming record. At the time, he shared few details about the LP to come, writing only on X: \u201cMy album is done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile this will be his first solo album since the 2016 classic that featured hits like \u201cThat\u2019s What I Like,\u201d \u201cVersace on the Floor<\/a>,\u201d and \u201cFinesse,\u201d he also linked up with Anderson .Paak to form Silk Sonic and dropped the 2021 duo LP, An Evening With Silk Sonic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t24K Magic was unequivocally one of the most successful modern albums, winning the star seven Grammys<\/a>, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year for the title track, and Song of the Year for \u201cThat\u2019s What I Like<\/a>.\u201d The Silk Sonic record also received acclaim, especially with lead single \u201cLeave the Door Open,<\/a>\u201d which won both Record and Song of the Year at the 2022 Grammys, along with two other trophies. (The duo decided not to submit the album itself for consideration, despite being a top contender. \u201cWe thank the Grammys for allowing us to perform on their platform \u2014 not once but twice \u2014 and awarding us at last year\u2019s ceremony,\u201d Mars told Rolling Stone<\/a> at the time. \u201cWe\u2019d be crazy to ask for anything more.\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the Silk Sonic era, Mars returned with several massive duets including \u201cFat, Juicy & Wet\u201d with Sexyy Redd and \u201cDie With a Smile,\u201d the smash hit with Lady Gaga, which won a Grammy at the 2025 awards show. He also linked up with Ros\u00e9 for \u201cAPT\u201d at the end of 2024 and the collab gained three Grammy nominations at next month\u2019s awards show, including Record and Song of the Year.<\/p>\n
