A shooting in northwest Dallas<\/a> last week that left one woman dead and injured her husband stemmed from a dating app meetup, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by The Dallas Morning News Wednesday. <\/p>\n

Noah Trueba, 26, was taken into custody Friday in connection with the shooting. According to the affidavit, Trueba said the pair \u201cattempted to sexually assault him\u201d during their meetup. He is being accused of shooting them both in their home in the 11800 block of High Meadow Drive. <\/p>\n

Trueba now faces a murder charge, according to Dallas police<\/a>. It is unclear where or if Trueba is being held, if his bail has been set or if he has an attorney. He does not show up in a search of inmates at the Dallas County<\/a> jail.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to a 911 call reporting that someone had been shot around 5:20 a.m. on Jan. 2<\/a>. Miguel Hernandez had gone to a neighbor\u2019s house a few doors down and told them to call 911 because he had been shot, police wrote in the affidavit. <\/p>\n

Police arrived at the couple\u2019s home to find Guadalupe Gonzalez, 57, \u201cunresponsive on the floor.\u201d She died at the scene, according to authorities. <\/p>\n

Hernandez gave officers a description of the suspect, later identified as Trueba, and police using a drone found him hiding behind an electrical box on the side of the highway in the westbound service road of Interstate 635. <\/p>\n

Officers took Trueba into custody at a nearby hospital after he told them \u201che was in pain,\u201d according to the affidavit. At the hospital, Trueba said \u201dhe did it\u201d and that \u201cit was self defense,\u201d according to the affidavit. <\/p>\n

Trueba told police officers before he was taken to the police station to meet with detectives that he had been pistol whipped and that Hernandez and Gonzalez \u201cattempted to rape him.\u201d Officers found a small handgun in between the scene and where Trueba was found. <\/p>\n

During the interview with detectives, Trueba said Gonzalez contacted him through Facebook Dating \u201cto party and have sex.\u201d Trueba and Gonzalez made arrangements for her to pick him up near his home in Garland, but Trueba told investigators she arrived with Hernandez and another male to pick him up, according to the affidavit. <\/p>\n

Trueba agreed to go to the couple\u2019s home, at which point they all \u201cdrank, he smoked marijuana and the other three smoked methamphetamine,\u201d the affidavit said. At one point, Trueba said Hernandez and Gonzalez told him to perform a sex act on them.<\/p>\n

When he refused, Gonzalez \u201cstruck him in the head with a pistol,\u201d and then attempted to sexually assault him, according to the affidavit. <\/p>\n

Trueba told investigators he fought back and was able to take a gun away from Gonzalez. Once Trueba got the gun, he fired it at the couple, then he called 911 and fled from the house. <\/p>\n

Authorities also spoke with Hernandez who told police that the three of them \u2013 himself, Trueba and Gonzalez \u2013 used methamphetamine and started role playing, according to the affidavit. He said they all got undressed at one point and started touching each other, according to the document. <\/p>\n

At some point, Trueba began opening doors and drawers looking into things, Hernandez told police. According to the affidavit, Gonzalez confronted Trueba and told him to leave, and when he did not, Gonzalez punched him. Trueba then pulled out a handgun and began shooting, according to the affidavit. <\/p>\n

Hernandez told authorities Trueba shot him first, which is when Gonzalez charged at him. Trueba then began \u201cshooting at her until he ran out of bullets,\u201d the affidavit said, and Hernandez ran out of the home before he could reload. <\/p>\n

In a second interview with detectives, Trueba told them the couple picked him up, as he previously stated, but there was no third person. He also told investigators that they all went back to the home and were partying and \u201chad all snorted methamphetamine and taken their clothes off,\u201d the affidavit said. <\/p>\n

Trueba told officials that the couple served him several drinks and that he was a little drunk. He said at some point, Gonzalez and Hernandez wanted to perform a sex act on him, but he refused and wanted to leave. The affidavit said Trueba at this point realized that Gonzalez was biologically male. <\/p>\n

When Trueba tried to leave, the couple put their hands on him to stop him and they \u201cbegan to tussle,\u201d according to the affidavit. Gonzalez grew angry, and punched him, <\/p>\n

Trueba said that he then pulled out a small handgun and began shooting, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n
