\u201cThese ICE agents are undertrained and trigger happy and everyone who has seen this video knows ICE murdered this woman,\u201d Hahn said. <\/b>\u201cThese ICE agents are too dangerous, and they should not be operating on our streets.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a strongly worded statement, Assemblymember Mark Gonz\u00e1lez (D-Los Angeles) called the shooting a \u201cpublic execution.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cICE does not give a single s\u2014 who you are, how long you\u2019ve lived here, or how hard you\u2019ve worked. They are coming for ALL of us. They are armed with fear, force, and zero accountability,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI unequivocally condemn the actions of federal agents in Minneapolis. The fatal shooting of Renee was a public execution, NOT self-defense.\u201d<\/p>\n
Masih Fouladi, executive director of the California Immigrant Policy Center, said it was not the first time that immigration enforcement operations had \u201cresulted in violence and bloodshed.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said federal immigration agents had fired on at least nine people in five states and Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
\u201dLast week, Keith Porter<\/a> was shot and killed outside his apartment in Los Angeles by an off-duty federal agent on New Year\u2019s Eve,\u201d he said. \u201cThe tragic killings of people by ICE agents are yet another example of how mass immigration raids endanger our communities and erode our constitutional rights.\u201d<\/p>\n The shooting of Porter is just one of several shootings and use-of-force incidents involving ICE agents in Southern California.<\/p>\n In October, immigration agents shot and wounded Carlos Jimenez,<\/a> 24, a U.S. citizen in Ontario, just days after TikTok streamer Carlitos Ricardo Parias<\/a> was shot in the arm. And in August, a federal agent in San Bernardino opened fire on people inside a truck.<\/a> The driver sped off after an agent smashed the driver\u2019s side window.<\/p>\n The Minneapolis shooting occurred Wednesday morning on a residential street.
