The request does not include the name of the storage business.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p8\" class=\"permalinkable\">It would be the third emergency room along 103rd Street, joining HCA Florida Park West Emergency and Ascension St. Vincent\u2019s Urgent Care, both less than a mile from the planned Baptist location.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p9\" class=\"permalinkable\">Other nearby emergency room facilities include the UF Health Emergency &amp; Urgent Care Center and HCA Florida Normandy Park Emergency 4.5 miles north of the planned Baptist site, along with Ascension St. Vincent\u2019s Emergency Care 4 miles south.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The parcel proposed for a standalone emergency room and a storage facility is across the street from a RaceTrac gas station.\" class=\"media-element file-default fr-fic fr-dii\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/er_storage_t850.jpg\" title=\"The parcel proposed for a standalone emergency room and a storage facility is across the street from a RaceTrac gas station.\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The parcel proposed for a standalone emergency room and a storage facility is across the street from a RaceTrac gas station.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p10\" class=\"permalinkable\">The rezoning request, Ordinance 2025-0757, advances to a full Council vote, likely on Jan. 13.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p11\" class=\"permalinkable\">According to a staff report from the city Planning Department, the development is expected in two phases.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p12\" class=\"permalinkable\">The first phase is the storage facility, the second the medical center.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p13\" class=\"permalinkable\">The PUD also allows for commercial uses of up to 110 multifamily, town house or row house homes.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h890682-p14\" class=\"permalinkable\">Attorney Hayden Phillips, who represents the developer, said the nonmedical uses are a backup if the Baptist plans fall through.
