(WLS) &#8212; A deadly crash has shut down traffic on I-55 in the southwest suburbs Thursday morning, Romeoville police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The crash occurred at around 4:30 a.m. on Route 126 near Mile Marker 260.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/watch\/live\/11064984\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24\/7. Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Romeoville police said a speeding vehicle on a frontage road hit a curve and went airborne,  crashing through a barrier wall and onto on I-55.<\/p>\n<p>Romeoville police said one person was killed after a car drove through a barrier onto I-55 Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Another vehicle then crashed into the speeding vehicle, police said. The driver of the vehicle that crashed through the wall died at the scene and the driver of the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Chopper7 flew above the scene with a hole in the barrier wall.
