Angel Reese is an All-Star again \u2014 and she\u2019s excited to join the team picked by Napheesa Collier. <\/p>\n
After it was announced she was picked by the Lynx star on Tuesday night in the WNBA All-Star Game draft, Reese went to X to share her excitement for joining Team Collier, which will take on the squad selected by the Fever\u2019s Caitlin Clark.<\/p>\n
\u201cnah team PHEE is STACKEDDD,\u201d Reese wrote with a smiley face emoji. <\/p>\n

Reese will once again be opposite Clark with their rivalry thrust into the spotlight thanks to Christine Brennan\u2019s new book, \u201cOn Her Game: Caitlin Clark and the Revolution in Women\u2019s Sports<\/a>,\u201d for which the author claims the Sky star turned down requests for comment<\/a>.<\/p>\n Reese, an All-Star for the second time in as many years, has averaged 12.6 points, a league-leading 12.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Sky this season.<\/p>\n She particularly stood out in June, where she averaged over 13 points on 45.9 percent shooting \u2014 a big improvement over the 31.1 percent she shot from the field in the first five games in May.<\/p>\n Reese has shined with six double-double efforts in a row, with the last five seeing her grab at least 15 rebounds and score 15 points in each game.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like this is the year I had to really earn it,\u201d Reese said of her selection, according to Yahoo. \u201cI had to grind.\u201d<\/p>\n Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier (24), who will captain an All-Star team, drives to the basket against the Washington Mystics in the second half at Target Center.
