{"id":502785,"date":"2026-01-09T03:03:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T03:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/502785\/"},"modified":"2026-01-09T03:03:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T03:03:09","slug":"man-dies-after-being-struck-by-cars-while-crossing-road-in-arlington-jso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/502785\/","title":{"rendered":"Man dies after being struck by cars while crossing road in Arlington: JSO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man in his mid-40s was hit while walking across Cesery Boulevard at the Arlington Expressway, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 A man died Thursday night after being hit by two cars in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened on Cesery Boulevard at the Arlington Expressway overpass at around 6:15 P.M., JSO said.<\/p>\n<p>The man, identified as being in his mid-40s, attempted to cross Cesery Blvd. when he was hit by an Infinity SUV. Shortly after, he was also hit by a Nissan SUV, JSO said.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers stayed on the scene and are cooperating with investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses at the scene said that the cars had a green light, which was turning yellow at the time of the crash.
