Meehan, Centenary College Assistant Athletic Director\/Strategic Communications <\/strong><\/p>\n Hal Mumme, one of the most innovative and dynamic offensive minds in the history of college football, has joined the Centenary football staff as the offensive coordinator, Director of Athletics and Recreation David Orr announced.<\/p>\n Mumme, widely recognized as one of the originators of the \u201cAir Raid\u201d offense, brings his expertise to head coach Byron Dawson\u2019s staff for the 2025 season. Mumme, a native of San Antonio, has coached at various levels, from high school to the NCAA, and is known for his innovative offensive strategies.\u00a0Mumme played collegiately at New Mexico Military Institute and Tarleton State University.<\/p>\n \u201cCoach Mumme quickly stood out among a strong group of candidates, and I truly felt we connected on philosophy and vision for our offense,\u201d said Dawson.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome one of the most iconic offensive minds in college football history to Kings Highway. With over 40 years of coaching experience, there\u2019s simply no substitute for the wisdom and leadership he brings. He\u2019ll be a game-changer as he guides our young Gents with the Air Raid offense.
