{"id":503882,"date":"2026-01-09T14:10:19","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T14:10:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/503882\/"},"modified":"2026-01-09T14:10:19","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T14:10:19","slug":"south-kohala-water-restriction-downgraded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/503882\/","title":{"rendered":"South Kohala Water Restriction Downgraded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>(BIVN)<\/strong> \u2013 The Water Restriction Notice for South Kohala has been downgraded to a Water Conservation Notice.<\/p>\n<p>Recent rains have filled the The Department of Water Supply\u2019s Waikoloa Reservoirs to a satisfactory level, allowing for the downgrade, water officials say.<\/p>\n<p>The affected areas include \u0100hualoa to Waiemi Subdivision, including Honokaia, Pu\u2018ukapu, Nienie, Waimea, L\u0101l\u0101milo Farm Lots, portions of Mana Road, portions of M\u0101malahoa Highway (Highway 19), Anekona Estates, and K\u0101nehoa Subdivision.<\/p>\n<p>The downgrade, effective immediately and until further notice, means water customers in the affected areas are no longer required to reduce water use by at least 25 percent.
