PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The dog wanted for a series of dog attacks in Center City<\/a> is in custody.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia police have confirmed that the pit bull was transported to ACCT Philly and is currently being evaluated.<\/p>\n

In one of the attacks, a 12-year-old miniature pinscher had to have its leg amputated.<\/p>\n

The dog’s owner, described as a homeless woman, was taken into custody on Tuesday on an unrelated warrant.<\/p>\n

Police say they have yet to file any charges related to the dog attacks.<\/p>\n
