This role is design-forward, execution-focused, and client-facing, with shared responsibility for project delivery, team leadership, and financial performance.<\/p>\n<p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Associate Design Director to implement and maintain design vision throughout all project phases<\/li>\n<li>Guide and mentor project team members throughout all phases of the project<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage the project\u2019s design workplan in alignment with contract requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Production &amp; Project Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead project phases from Concept Design through Construction Administration<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the timely execution of all project deliverables, holding main responsibility for quality control and assurance<\/li>\n<li>Track open items, decisions, and action items across the project lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Lead consultant coordination<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate expertise in full documentation, detailing, and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Highly proficient in Revit and digital project workflows<\/li>\n<li>Apply strong working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial &amp; Contractual Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share responsibility with the Project Director for monitoring and reporting project financial performance, including project setup; staffing plans; revenue and billing progress<\/li>\n<li>Track scope, schedule, and budget alignment throughout the project<\/li>\n<li>Draft scope and fee proposals, including Additional Services, in coordination with senior leadership<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable about project contracts and risk mitigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Client &amp; Stakeholder Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage day-to-day client communication with professionalism and clarity<\/li>\n<li>Align client goals and expectations with the project\u2019s design vision<\/li>\n<li>Lead project meetings by setting clear agendas and documenting outcomes, decisions, and action items<\/li>\n<li>Obtain timely client feedback, direction, and approvals<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and resolve scope adjustments, including scope creep, schedule extensions, and additional services<\/li>\n<li>Navigate complex client organizations and multi-stakeholder environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communicator<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Act as a role model and mentor within teams and across the office<\/li>\n<li>Foster trust, accountability, and a collaborative working environment<\/li>\n<li>Set project priorities, work cadence, and allocate tasks effectively<\/li>\n<li>Drive projects forward toward successful completion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 8+\u00a0years of professional experience in architectural practice<\/li>\n<li>Architectural license required<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience leading complex projects through all phases, including construction administration<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience with global, design-focused firms preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong design sensibility paired with rigorous technical and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Organized professional comfortable working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and international environment<\/li>\n<li>Available to work full time in person in New York, NY<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Henning Larsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Henning Larsen is an international design studio with strong Nordic roots and values at the core of who we are.
