America’s Got Talent<\/a> just gets weirder and weirder, and we can’t stop staring.\n<\/p>\n

Neither could Simon Cowell<\/a>, for one, on Tuesday’s episode, when Mike Munz, a personal trainer from Florida who presented as nervous and shy, stepped onto the stage. Munz promptly ripped off his shirt to reveal some major muscles, which he made move to music.\n<\/p>\n

Cowell’s eyes widened as he watched, and he stood for the contestant at the end.\n<\/p>\n

“The boss is standing!” Cowell’s fellow judge Howie Mandel<\/a> marveled.\n<\/p>\n

The audience wasn’t expecting Mike Munz’s act.<\/p>\n

“Well, because, I wasn’t expecting that,” Cowell responded. “I thought you were gonna take your clothes off, and you were gonna be like a pencil. And it was the opposite. I’ve never seen anyone have so many muscles in their body and to control them all over.”\n<\/p>\n

Then Cowell got personal: “I’ve got to ask this: Would you ever consider taking on a client who could do with a bit of a tone up? It’s just a friend of mine.”\n<\/p>\n

Munz said he could teach him Cowell something.<\/p>\n

Even host Terry Crews<\/a>, known for his own buff physique, was impressed.\n<\/p>\n

“Wow, that\u2019s a whole other level of hard!” he said.<\/p>\n

Judges Mel B<\/a> and Sofia Vergara<\/a> were all about the performance, too.\n<\/p>\n

“Do other people do this?” Vergara asked.\n<\/p>\n

Munz answered that he hasn’t seen anyone.\n<\/p>\n

“This is why I love America’s Got Talent, because we don’t know what is gonna come onto this stage,” Mel B said. “And I think what you’ve done is hot, fit, and unique. You are brilliant.”\n<\/p>\n

The muscle man wasn’t the only one to walk away with four yes votes to stay in the competition.\n<\/p>\n

Among the others was 10-year-old Bay Melnick Virgolino, from New York City, who played guitar and sang a cover of Lenny Kravitz<\/a>‘s “Are You Gonna Go My Way.”\n<\/p>\n

“I was five years old when I was obsessed with Slash, so I wanted to learn how to play, so I asked my mom for lessons,” the tween told the audience. He joked that his parents are his roadies.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When Virgolino finished rocking out, Mel B gave him lots of love.\n<\/p>\n

“I think Lenny Kravitz would be so proud of you!” she said. “You got so into it and did all those riffs. I felt it. I really liked that bit. I did.”\n<\/p>\n

Mandel commented on the uproar the young rocker elicited from people in the room.\n<\/p>\n

“No question, I don’t have to say anything,” Mandel said. “This audience just said it. You are amazing. You are memorable. You’re like a rock star.”\n<\/p>\n

Vergara proclaimed the contestant “one of the coolest kids I have ever met.”\n<\/p>\n

For Cowell, the performance made him think of his son, Eric, whom he and fianc\u00e9e Lauren Silverman welcomed in 2014. His dad said he’s just learned to play the drums.\n<\/p>\n

“You’re so good. You really are,” Cowell said. “And, importantly, you’re having the best time you’ve ever had, aren’t you? Yep, I could tell. If you’re having fun, we’re having fun.”<\/p>\n
