There\u2019s a few closures and detours on deck this weekend for roadways throughout the region. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Here\u2019s what you need to know. <\/p>\n<p>President George Bush Turnpike<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The ramps connecting southbound Northbound Interstate 35E to westbound President George Bush Turnpike in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/carrollton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/carrollton\/\">Carrollton<\/a> will undergo continuous closures for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/txdot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/txdot\/\">Texas Department of Transportation<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txdot.gov\/35ephase2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.txdot.gov\/35ephase2.html\">I-35E Phase 2 project<\/a>, according to a traffic advisory from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/ntta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/ntta\/\">North Texas Tollway Authority<\/a>. Continuous closures will begin Friday at 9 p.m. and continue through 5 a.m. Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>Chisholm Trail Parkway<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">For drivers in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fort-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/fort-worth\/\">Fort Worth<\/a> area, continuous closures are underway on Chisholm Trail Parkway in Crowley for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntta.org\/chisholm-trail-parkway-ctp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ntta.org\/chisholm-trail-parkway-ctp\">widening project<\/a> taking place on the roadway. The closures are specifically needed to move equipment in the work zone, according to the NTTA advisory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The closures, which are on the northbound County Road 920 entrance ramp, began Monday and will continue through Monday, Jan. 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Additional closures will take place daily on Chisholm Trail Parkway in Crowley from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, then again Monday to Saturday, Jan. 17. The closures are also needed to move equipment, and will take place on the southbound CR 920 entrance ramp. <\/p>\n<p>Interstate 30 <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">In western <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/tarrant-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/tarrant-county\/\">Tarrant County<\/a>, I-30 going westbound from Spur 580\/Camp Bowie Boulevard to Linkcrest Drive will be closed for bridge construction activities, according to a post on X from TxDOT\u2019s Fort Worth office. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The closures will take place from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday, according to the post. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Signs and message boards will be placed near the construction sites to alert drivers of all the closures. Detours will also be available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">All closures are subject to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/\">weather conditions<\/a> and could potentially be postponed, if necessary.
