The hit Broadway production at the Marquis is celebrating the finale of the Netflix series.<\/p>\n

Broadway’s\u00a0Stranger Things: The First Shadow<\/a>,\u00a0a prequel to the Netflix series\u00a0Stranger Things, will celebrate the hit series’ finale with a one-day-only, in-person ticket lottery January 11 at the\u00a0Marquis Theatre (the date is a nod to the characters 001 and 011 from the show).<\/p>\n

Fans are invited to visit the box office between 2:30\u00a0PM and 4:30\u00a0PM for a chance to win one of\u00a011\u00a0pairs of $11 tickets to that evening’s performance. The drawing will take place in-person at the Marquis box office at 5 PM, and those interested must be present to win.<\/p>\n

The 11\u00a0lottery winners will also receive exclusive merchandise bundles featuring a signed window card and select Stranger Things products from partners at Jazwares, Dr. Squatch, Funko, CoverGirl, and Sally Hansen.<\/p>\n

The hit Broadway production, which recently broke the nine-performance house record at the Marquis Theatre with a gross of $2,510,948 for the week ending December 28, 2025, has also announced that tickets are now on sale through September 6, 2026.<\/p>\n

Based on the an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne<\/a>,
\nand Kate Trefry, and set in the world of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, the play, is penned by Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry<\/a>, and co-directed by Justin Martin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The play explores when Henry Creel first moves to Hawkins, Indiana,
\nin 1959, following how he becomes the eventual ruler of the Upside Down.
\n The play also features high school versions of Stranger Things characters Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, and Joyce Maldonado. The work premiered at London’s Phoenix Theatre in 2023.<\/p>\n

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is currently streaming on Netflix now.<\/p>\n

In the play, Louis McCartney<\/a> reprises his West End performance as Henry Creel, with Rosie Benton<\/a> (Patriots) as Virginia Creel, Alex Breaux (Stranger Things) as Dr. Brenner, Andrew Hovelson<\/a> (Lucky Guy<\/a>) as Principal Newby, Alison Jaye<\/a> (Shameless) as Joyce Maldonado, Emmy nominee T.R. Knight<\/a> (Grey\u2019s Anatomy) as Victor Creel, Emmy nominee Gabrielle Nevaeh<\/a> as Patty Newby, Juan Carlos as Bob Newby, and Burke Swanson<\/a> (Back to the Future: The Musical) as James Hopper, Jr.<\/p>\n

Stranger Things: The First Shadow continues

The play is produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions<\/a>. The
\nDuffer Brothers act as creative producers, with 21 Laps Entertainment as
