These are the qualities that help us move confidently, remain upright if we stumble, or lift something quickly without strain. That said, <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.topendsports.com\/testing\/tests\/longjump.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Top End Sports<\/a> provides a rough overview of assessing your scoring.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent = greater than 8\u2032 2.5\u2033 for males; greater than 6\u2032 6.5\u2032 for females<\/li>\n<li>Very good = 7\u2032 11\u2033 \u2014 8\u2032 2.5\u2033 for males; 6\u2032 3\u2033 \u2014 6\u2032 6.5\u2032 for females<\/li>\n<li>Above average = 7\u2032 7\u2033 \u2014 7\u2032 10.5\u2033 for males; 5\u2032 11.5\u2033 \u2014 6\u2032 2.5\u2033 for females<\/li>\n<li>Average = 7\u2032 3\u2033 \u2014 7\u2032 6.5\u2033 for males; 5\u2032 7.5\u2033 \u2014 5\u2032 11\u2033 for females<\/li>\n<li>Below average = 6\u2032 11\u2033 \u2014 7\u2032 2.5\u2033 for males; 5\u2032 3.5\u2033 \u2014 5\u2032 7\u2033 for females<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s more important is noticing your own progress,\u201d Luke stresses. \u201cIf you can improve or maintain your jump distance over time, through a combination of strength training and other power work, you\u2019re doing something right!
