Wintry weather will make a return to the Chicago area over the weekend after a short stint of spring-like temperatures Friday, according to the National Weather Service. <\/p>\n
Rain and snow is expected in the Chicago area before noon Saturday, according to NWS. Snow accumulations may be observed near and north of I-80 through the morning, primarily on grassy and colder surfaces.<\/p>\n
After noon, there is a chance of rain and snow showers until 1 p.m., and then a chance of just snow showers after 1 p.m., according to NWS. New snow accumulation is likely to be less than half an inch.<\/p>\n
Temperatures Saturday will peak around 36 degrees, and winds could gust as high as 30 miles per hour, NWS said. <\/p>\n
Bears fans will want to layer up for the 7 p.m. game against the Packers at Soldier Field as scattered snow showers will move through the area Saturday night, with a low around 22 degrees. <\/p>\n
