It has recently come to light that Ex-Fire From The Gods<\/strong> vocalist AJ Channer<\/strong> was arrested on charges of child endangerment (8 years or less)<\/a> this past December 19th in Cleveland, TN. Increased scrutiny surrounding his recent arrest and his mugshot for this latest charge has led to his past legal history also being uncovered.<\/p>\n

As such, word that he was arrested for a charge of assault of a pregnant person<\/a> back on May 07th, 2024 has been circulating as well. It is currently unclear as to the resolution of that case. Channer<\/strong> was officially replaced in Fire From The Gods<\/strong> by Volumes<\/strong> vocalist Myke Terry<\/strong>, back in March of 2025<\/a>. At the time of that lineup switch, Channer<\/strong>\u2018s significant other Brittan Taylor<\/strong> stated on social media<\/a> of the matter:<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to say thank you to everyone reaching out to check on Channer AJ<\/strong>. Yes the news is out, Fire From the Gods<\/strong> has a new vocalist. AJ<\/strong> and I have been through a lot over the past few years and it was time to take a break and focus on family, which is exactly what he has done. I wish the guys in FFTG all the best and am looking forward to watching them continue to make music with Myke<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Dealing with our mental health issues, moving to a new state, and having the baby all at the same time\u2026 it was time for us to slow things down and focus on family. The last year has shown us how much we can grow and heal together and I am in awe of how hard AJ<\/strong> has fought to get healthy. I am so unbelievably proud of this man.<\/p>\n

We have our forever because we have each other. Keep fighting the good fight baby.<\/p>\n

AJ<\/strong> is now working on his solo project CHNNR<\/strong> and will be releasing new music soon so stay tuned!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As it currently stands, neither Channer<\/strong> nor Fire From The Gods<\/strong> appear to have publicly addressed these latest revelations. In a post made December 15th, 2025 on Channer<\/strong>\u2018s Instagram page<\/a>, Channer <\/strong>was promoting the latest CHNNR<\/strong> single \u201cFukt<\/strong>\u201d with the attached caption, \u201cThis is what my sobriety and slaying demons sounds like.\u201d Channer<\/strong> has continued to promote the project since this latest charge, stating 2 days ago on Instagram:<\/p>\n
