{"id":505708,"date":"2026-01-10T08:16:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T08:16:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/505708\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T08:16:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T08:16:33","slug":"porsche-brings-parts-distribution-technical-training-facility-to-north-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/505708\/","title":{"rendered":"Porsche brings parts distribution, technical training facility to North Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.porsche.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Porsche Car North America<\/a>, based in Atlanta, has opened a state-of-the-art facility in Texas to accelerate turnaround times for both parts distribution and technician training, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/press.porsche.com\/prod\/presse_pag\/PressResources.nsf\/Content?ReadForm&amp;languageversionid=1772864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 301,140-square-foot facility behind Texas Motor Speedway is designed to enhance service efficiency, support dealer operations and provide advanced training for Porsche technicians across the North Texas region, according to the news release.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cohenasset.com\/news\/cohen-asset-management-inc-announces-the-acquisition-of-a-newly-constructed-industrial-property-in-fort-worth-texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cohen Asset Management<\/a> posted that the construction of the building was finished on Oct. 8. The facility employs 21 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Fort Worth Parts Center is a major milestone in our logistics strategy,\u201d said Brad Skoff, President of Porsche&#8217;s logistics services. \u201cIt allows us to deliver parts faster and more efficiently, while also creating meaningful jobs and economic impact in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is the company\u2019s second-largest distribution center in the world. The building will support same-day and next-day parts distribution across the region.<\/p>\n<p>A newly launched nationwide shuttle network will connect all of Porsche\u2019s parts distribution centers, reducing reliance on third-party carriers, minimizing damage risk and enhancing freight security, according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What else<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The training portion provides hands-on instruction for internal combustion, hybrid and battery electric vehicles, or BEVs. The building had three classrooms and a workshop with three lifts to provide hands-on training, according to the news release. The company expects to train 800 technicians in the Certified Porsche Technician Program annually.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new hub reflects Porsche\u2019s dedication to excellence in service and customer support,\u201d said Glenn Garde, vice president of after-sales at PCNA. \u201cBy investing in Fort Worth, we\u2019re not only improving logistics and training capabilities, but also strengthening our connection to our dealer network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Porsche has dealerships in Grapevine, Dallas, Plano and Fort Worth, according to its website.
