Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal<\/a> sent a firm warning\u00a0to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents that they shouldn\u2019t expect brotherly love if they attempt to operate in her city in the way they\u2019re conducting themselves in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Bilal started a fiery press conference on Thursday by having everyone in attendance say the name of Minneapolis woman Renee Nicole Good<\/a>, who was fatally shot by a masked ICE agent<\/a> on Wednesday, and calling those officers \u201cmade-up, fake, wannabe\u201d law enforcement<\/a> operating under \u201cTrump\u2019s new army.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo law enforcement professional wears a mask. None,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Veteran ICE agent Jonathan Ross<\/a> is accused of shooting the 37-year-old mother of three as she tried to drive away during a chaotic traffic encounter. Trump administration officials contend Ross acted in self-defense. He has not been charged with a crime.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaw enforcement professionals do not shoot at moving vehicles. I\u2019m not saying fleeing, because she wasn\u2019t fleeing. She was getting out of the way<\/a>,\u201d Bilal said. \u201cLaw enforcement professionals do not stand in front of moving vehicles invoking an action that is illegal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bilal insisted that her officers will arrest any ICE agents who come into her city and violate the law, and that Philadelphia prosecutors will charge them.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIf any of them want to come in this city and commit a crime, you will not be able to hide,\u201d she warned. \u201cYou don\u2019t want this smoke, \u2019cause we will bring it \u2026 [and] the criminal in the White House will not be able to keep you from going to jail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her reference was to President Trump, who was convicted on 34 counts<\/a> of falsifying New York business records in 2024 before being elected again later that year.<\/p>\n

Officials in Minnesota have called for ICE agents to \u201cget the f\u2014 out of Minneapolis.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0There are believed to be more than 2,000 agents deployed there.<\/p>\n
