{"id":5059,"date":"2025-06-22T11:13:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-22T11:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/5059\/"},"modified":"2025-06-22T11:13:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-22T11:13:09","slug":"nick-kyrgios-takes-dig-at-bbc-possible-tv-replacement-their-loss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/5059\/","title":{"rendered":"Nick Kyrgios takes dig at BBC, possible TV replacement: &#8216;Their loss&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nick Kyrgios is apparently competitive on and off the tennis court.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/sport\/2025\/jun\/21\/nick-kyrgios-if-id-acted-a-bit-differently-i-would-have-had-a-wimbledon-title\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview with The Guardian<\/a>, Kyrgios ripped the BBC for not bringing him back as a commentator during this year\u2019s Wimbledon, taking a dig at his replacement in the process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know I\u2019m a great commentator,\u201d Kyrgios said. \u201cAll I\u2019ve done for 20 years is play, study and breathe this sport. I also think tennis needs commentators who say things that not everyone says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate but it\u2019s probably their loss more than mine,\u201d he continued. \u201cI understand they\u2019ve got Chris Eubanks but he hasn\u2019t beaten the greatest of all time multiple times.
