How cold could it get?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Many North Texans are likely rejoicing this weekend at the return of chillier temperatures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">A cold front moved in Friday night on the heels of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/\">scattered showers<\/a>, dropping the high down from 80 degrees earlier in the week to a perfectly normal 56. The temperature should stay in a similar place on Sunday, with an overnight low of 36 degrees in between, before warming up slightly next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Friday\u2019s rain was the most significant showers Dallas had received in over a month, with about a quarter of an inch of rain falling at Dallas Love Field. The rain didn\u2019t reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/curious-texas\/2019\/02\/27\/why-are-official-weather-records-taken-at-dfw-airport-curious-texas-heads-out-to-the-runway\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/curious-texas\/2019\/02\/27\/why-are-official-weather-records-taken-at-dfw-airport-curious-texas-heads-out-to-the-runway\/\">DFW International Airport<\/a>, though, the official climate location for the region. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">After Friday\u2019s rain, the skies are expected to be mostly clear for the next week.
