In San Diego County, parents are still reaching for classics like Emma, Olivia, and Noah \u2014 but 2025 also brought plenty of multicultural flair and family-inspired choices.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdarcc.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The San Diego County Assessor\/Recorder\/County Clerk\u2019s Office<\/a> has released the official Top 10 Baby Names for last year, based on birth records filed throughout the county. Jordan Marks, the elected Assessor\/Recorder\/County Clerk, is the official record holder of San Diegans\u2019 most important life moments, from births and marriages to deaths.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs your elected County Assessor\/Recorder\/County Clerk, I\u2019m honored to be the record holder of San Diegans\u2019 life\u2019s most important moments,\u201d Marks said. \u201cEach birth record tells a story, and these baby names reflect the families, cultures, and traditions that make San Diego County such a special place to live. From timeless classics to names inspired by heritage and global influence, these trends offer a unique snapshot of our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 10 Baby Girl Names in San Diego County \u2014 2025<\/strong><br \/>Emma<br \/>Sophia<br \/>Mia<br \/>Olivia<br \/>Isabella<br \/>Camila<br \/>Charlotte<br \/>Amelia<br \/>Sofia<br \/>Valentina<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 10 Baby Boy Names in San Diego County \u2014 2025<\/strong><br \/>Noah<br \/>Santiago<br \/>Liam<br \/>Mateo<br \/>Sebastian<br \/>Luca<br \/>Julian<br \/>Oliver<br \/>Theodore<br \/>Elias<\/p>\n<p>Names like Santiago, Mateo, Camila, and Sofia highlight the county\u2019s strong Latino and multicultural roots, while Emma, Noah, Olivia, and Liam continue to stand the test of time. Other names, such as Elias, Isabella, Sebastian, and Noah, reflect popular biblical and Disney-inspired influences.<\/p>\n<p>For a bit of perspective beyond San Diego, <a href=\"https:\/\/ldh.la.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Louisiana <\/a>also released its 2025 list. Noah topped the boys\u2019 chart there, and Amelia led for girls. Other favorites included Liam, James, Olivia, Emma, Harper, Charlotte, and Sophia \u2014 some familiar, some reflecting local flavor.
