{"id":506222,"date":"2026-01-10T13:30:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T13:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/506222\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T13:30:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T13:30:16","slug":"septa-regional-rail-express-service-returns-monday-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/506222\/","title":{"rendered":"SEPTA Regional Rail express service returns Monday morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Morning express service will be restored on <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/tags\/septa\/\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEPTA<\/a>&#8216;s Regional Rail lines on Monday now that enough railcars have cleared inspections to be returned to the tracks, transit officials said Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SEPTA had switched the Regional Rail lines to an all-local schedule, with trains stopping at all stations, during the fall after the transit authority&#8217;s Silverliner IV cars were removed from service for inspections and repairs mandated by the Federal Railroad Administration.<\/p>\n<p><b>MORE:<\/b>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/red-light-cameras-philly-art-museum-eakins-oval\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Red light cameras are now ticketing drivers in front of the Philly Art Museum<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The FRA ordered\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/septa-regional-rail-car-fire-inspection-deadline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">repairs<\/a>\u00a0to 223 Silverliner IV railcars following electrical fires in early 2025. These railcars were built in the 1970s, and they account for about two-thirds of SEPTA&#8217;s total fleet.
