DALLAS \u2014 Two teens were arrested after leading officers on a chase through Dallas in a stolen vehicle, according to police.<\/p>\n
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers on routine patrol noticed a stolen vehicle on Marsh Lane and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle sped off, police said, and officers initiated a brief pursuit. The car became disabled in the 6500 block of Cedar Springs Road, and additional officers were requested to assist with taking the suspects into custody, DPD said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bryant Gochez and Andres Hernandez, both 18 years old, were arrested, according to police. No officers were injured in this incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Dallas police said Hernandez was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle, a third-degree felony, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a state jail felony. Gochez was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Possession of Marijuana between two and four ounces, all Class A Misdemeanors.<\/p>\n
