{"id":507401,"date":"2026-01-11T01:11:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T01:11:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/507401\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T01:11:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T01:11:15","slug":"la-crews-have-repaired-2400-potholes-since-storms-began-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/507401\/","title":{"rendered":"LA crews have repaired 2,400 potholes since storms began \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced on Saturday that more than 2,400 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/several-vehicles-damaged-by-pothole-on-arcadia-onramp\/3825700\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">potholes<\/a> have been repaired across the city after the recent rainstorms.<\/p>\n<p>Los Angeles saw record rainfall over the Christmas and New Year&#8217;s Eve holidays, with more than 7 inches falling across the city since Dec. 23. The city&#8217;s Bureau of Street Services dedicated additional resources toward pothole repairs, including deploying additional personnel who are working longer hours during the week and weekend, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Los Angeles saw record rainfall over the holiday season, and we are increasingly seeing more extreme weather events,&#8221; Bass said. &#8220;City public works crews are out every day fixing potholes and responding to calls for service to minimize impacts to Angelenos. Angelenos are encouraged to report potholes to 311.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDrivers across Los Angeles County are being plagued with more potholes after the recent storms.
