Co-host Joy Behar referenced the \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d star\u2019s recent essay in The Cut, in which she recalled breaking ties with her \u201ctoxic\u201d mom group for allegedly excluding her from hangouts \u2014 a move she called \u201ctoo high school\u201d for her in a breakup text. <\/p>\n

\u201cWould you announce that you were leaving like that? Behar asked her co-hosts during Saturday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Weekend View.\u201d <\/p>\n

Sara Haines questioned Ashley Tisdale\u2019s public airing of her \u201ctoxic\u201d mom group drama on Saturday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Weekend View.\u201d ABC<\/p>\n

\u201cOr just stop talking?\u201d <\/p>\n

Sara Haines responded by saying Tisdale\u2019s public confessions were \u201cthe most high school part of this.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cLike, I would never write to a group and say, like, \u2018Shame on all of you,’\u201d Haines said, adding, \u201cYou just drop out, you just go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joy Behar wondered aloud if her cohosts would \u201cannounce\u201d their departure from a mom group. ABC<\/p>\n

While Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed that \u201ctoxic mom culture is a thing,\u201d Ana Navarro questioned why they \u201chave to go through all these steps\u201d to cut off an unhealthy friendship. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhy can\u2019t you just leave the conversation, and get it out of your head and out of your life?\u201d Navarro said, adding that Whoopi Goldberg has been known to \u201cleave the conversation\u201d during the show\u2019s group chats. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou just drop out,\u201d Haines asserted. ABC<\/p>\n

Behar, meanwhile, expressed dismay with terms like \u201ctoxic moms\u201d and \u201cmean girls.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all very anti-female,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

A rep for Tisdale did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

Ana Navarro asked why women can\u2019t \u201cjust leave the conversation\u201d if they aren\u2019t getting along with pals. ABC<\/p>\n

Behar called \u201cmean girl\u201d and \u201ctoxic mom\u201d labels \u201canti-female.\u201d ABC<\/p>\n

Tisdale, 40, made headlines when she published her essay earlier this month, seemingly accusing her former star-studded mom group <\/a>of alienating her and making her feel \u201cnot cool enough\u201d for them. <\/p>\n

Though she didn\u2019t name anyone specific, she\u2019s been known to be part of an A-list mom group that counts Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor, and Hilary Duff among its ranks. <\/p>\n

Duff\u2019s husband Matthew Koma seemingly weighed in with a harsh message<\/a> insinuating Tisdale is \u201cself obsessed\u201d and \u201ctone deaf\u201d in a cryptic Instagram Story. <\/p>\n

Tisdale recently shared that she broke up with her mom group via an essay in The Cut. GC Images<\/p>\n

After calling out the star-studded group (without naming names,) she\u2019s faced a firestorm of drama. Ashley Tisdale\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Trainor\u2019s husband Daryl Sabara\u00a0contributed a gentler perspective<\/a>, telling TMZ on Thursday that there\u2019s \u201cno drama over here\u201d and saying he \u201chope[s]\u201d Tisdale \u201cis okay.\u201d <\/p>\n

An insider divulged to Page Six earlier this week that the Disney Channel alum was frozen out by her former high-profile friends<\/a> over a \u201cmyriad of things, not just one specific.\u201d <\/p>\n
