The Magic are set for a major boost. <\/p>\n

Moe Wagner is returning and will make his season debut on Sunday against the Pelicans in Orlando, the team announced Saturday.<\/p>\n

He has been out since tearing his ACL in a Dec. 21, 2024, win over the Heat.<\/p>\n

Wagner emerged as a Sixth Man of the Year candidate last year before his injury, averaging 19.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. <\/p>\n

He returns to a Magic side that has slid a bit recently, going 6-6 in their last 12 games. <\/p>\n

They sit eighth in the Eastern Conference at 21-18. <\/p>\n

The Magic are still without Jalen Suggs for Sunday\u2019s game. <\/p>\n

He will miss his fifth straight game with a MCL contusion. <\/p>\n

Franz Wagner \u2014 Mo\u2019s brother and teammate \u2014 is still out as well with the ankle sprain he suffered in a loss to the Knicks on Dec. 7<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Franz Wagner had gotten off to a strong start to the year, averaging 22.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, and put himself in the conversation for his first All-Star appearance. <\/p>\n

But his injury stopped that momentum. <\/p>\n

Moe Wagner is in his seventh season in the NBA.<\/p>\n
