In total, the Hawkeyes registered five wins over ranked opponents.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>#1 IOWA VS. #4 GRAND VALLEY STATE<\/strong><br \/>To start things off in the third place dual, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/sterling-dias\" title=\"Sterling Dias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sterling Dias<\/a> collected the upset win over No. 4 Rayana Sahagun with a 7-0 decision at 103. Following at 110, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/ava-bayless\" title=\"Ava Bayless\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ava Bayless<\/a> secured the win over Kiely Tabaldo with a 6-0 decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fourth-ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/brianna-gonzalez\" title=\"Brianna Gonzalez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brianna Gonzalez<\/a> secured a 10-0 technical fall over Libby Roberts at 117 pounds. At 124 pounds, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/isabella-marie-gonzalez\" title=\"Isabella Marie Gonzales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Isabella Marie Gonzales<\/a> fell to Sage Mortimer \u2013 the second ranked wrestler at 117 pounds \u2013 by fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Top-ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/karlee-brooks\" title=\"Karlee Brooks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karlee Brooks<\/a> locked in an 8-3 decision at 131 pounds over Aspen Blasko, who is the second ranked wrestler at 124 pounds. At 138 pounds, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/lilly-luft\" title=\"Lilly Luft\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lilly Luft<\/a> fell to top ranked Katerina Lange, who notched the 10-0 technical fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At 145 pounds, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/cadence-diduch\" title=\"Cadence Diduch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cadence Diduch<\/a> got a 10-0 technical fall win over Margaret Buurma. She was followed by top-ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/kennedy-blades\" title=\"Kennedy Blades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy Blades<\/a>, who showed out, getting the win by fall over Noelle Gaffney.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/kylie-welker\" title=\"Kylie Welker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kylie Welker<\/a> kept things rolling for the Hawkeyes, she posted a 10-0 technical fall over Maddison ward at 180 pounds. At 207 pounds, <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/jaycee-foeller\" title=\"Jaycee Foeller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jaycee Foeller<\/a> fell to the fifth-ranked wrestler at 180 pounds, Sabrina Nauss who secured the fall in the second period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#1 IOWA VS. #3 NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>In the semifinal matchup earlier Saturday morning, No. 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/valarie-solorio\" title=\"Valarie Solorio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valarie Solorio<\/a> secured the 11-0 technical fall over Brianne Graves at 103 pounds. At 110 pounds, No. 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/nyla-valencia\" title=\"Nyla Valencia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nyla Valencia<\/a> fell to No. 4 Kaelani Shufeldt via fall.<\/p>\n<p>No. 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/brianna-gonzalez\" title=\"Brianna Gonzalez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brianna Gonzalez<\/a> fell to No. 5 Riley Rayome at 117 in a 3-3 decision that went to criteria, giving North Central the 8-5 lead. This was followed by 124 pounds, where No. 5 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/cali-leng\" title=\"Cali Leng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cali Leng<\/a> fell to No. 3 Sara Sterner by pin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No. 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/karlee-brooks\" title=\"Karlee Brooks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karlee Brooks<\/a> got the Hawkeyes back on track at 131 with the 8-4 decision over No. 9 Yele Aycock. She was followed at 138 pounds by No. 3 ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/skye-raelin\" title=\"Skye Realin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skye Realin<\/a>, who won the close match in the final seconds with a 6-6 decision by criteria over Claire Dicugno.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No. 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/reese-larramendy\" title=\"Reese Larramendy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reese Larramendy<\/a> got the upset win over No. 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/bella-mir\" title=\"Bella Mir\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bella Mir<\/a> at 145 with a last second score to secure the 8-4 decision. After seven weights, North Central led 16-14. No. 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/hawkeyesports.com\/sports\/womens-wrestling\/roster\/player\/kennedy-blades\" title=\"Kennedy Blades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy Blades<\/a> followed at 160 pounds.
