{"id":508496,"date":"2026-01-11T12:34:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T12:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508496\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T12:34:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T12:34:21","slug":"luxury-home-sales-in-san-antonio-brought-in-1-1b-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508496\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxury home sales in San Antonio brought in $1.1B in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new luxury real estate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasrealestate.com\/about-us\/newsroom\/news-releases\/more-homes-in-texas-sold-for-1-million-than-ever-before\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> reveals Texas broke a record for the highest number of million-dollar homes sold from November 2024 to October 2025, and the San Antonio-New Braunfels metro crossed the $1 billion mark with its own luxury home sales.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 14,418 Texas homes were sold for at least $1 million last year, generating a record-breaking $24.5 billion, according to  Texas Realtors&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025_Sales_of_Million_Dollar_Homes_in_Texas_Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2025 Texas Sales of Million-Dollar Homes Report<\/a>. The number of luxury home sales in the state soared 12 percent compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Million-dollar home sales in the San Antonio metro made up 5 percent of all luxury home sale transactions in Texas during the 12-month period, the report found. The total sales dollar volume of San Antonio-area homes that sold for $1 million or more added up to about $1.1 billion last year, or about <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/real-estate\/texas-million-dollar-home-sales\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">$94.2 million more<\/a> than it did during the previous period from November 2023 to October 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In all, 736 million-dollar homes were sold in the San Antonio region at an average price of $352 per square foot. For comparison, the average price per square foot for all residential homes in the metro was $173.<\/p>\n<p>Both figures are lower than the statewide average, according to Texas Realtors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The average price per square foot of $1 million+ homes increased to $423 from $418 last year and was more than double the $188 average price per square foot of all Texas homes,&#8221; the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the median closing price for a luxury home in San Antonio added up to just over $1.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>High-end homes in San Antonio are also more than twice the size of the typical residential home in the metro.
