{"id":508734,"date":"2026-01-11T15:03:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T15:03:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508734\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T15:03:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T15:03:33","slug":"3m-springfield-armory-sale-approved-by-2-jacksonville-city-council-committees-jax-daily-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508734\/","title":{"rendered":"$3M Springfield Armory sale approved by 2 Jacksonville City Council committees: Jax Daily Record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 The National Guard Armory Building in Springfield is one step closer to being sold for redevelopment, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaxdailyrecord.com\/news\/2026\/jan\/06\/jacksonville-city-council-committees-approve-sale-of-springfield-armory-to-lessee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.jaxdailyrecord.com\/news\/2026\/jan\/06\/jacksonville-city-council-committees-approve-sale-of-springfield-armory-to-lessee\/\">according to News4JAX news partner the Jacksonville Daily Record<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">During meetings on Jan. 5, two Jacksonville City Council committees endorsed legislation to sell the 2.49-acre property in Springfield to Armory Redevelopment Associates LLC for $3.04 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The legislation is now headed to the Finance Committee on Tuesday, and if that committee approves the ordinance without further revisions, it would go before the full council for a vote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to the Daily Record, the original proposed sale price for the property at 851 N.
