HOUSTON <\/strong> \u2013 A woman was killed while checking the tire on her vehicle on Thursday night. She was hit by another car on I-610 near Broad Street. This happened a little before 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Houston police said the woman stopped her vehicle in the middle of the freeway, got out of her car, and went to inspect her tire. That\u2019s when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle. <\/p>\n

First responders say the woman who died is believed to be in her late 20s to early 30s, and at the time we posted this story, she had not been identified.<\/p>\n

The driver who hit the woman showed no signs of intoxication, authorities said. <\/p>\n
