{"id":508994,"date":"2026-01-11T17:42:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T17:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508994\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T17:42:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T17:42:10","slug":"dirt-bike-rider-seriously-hurt-in-hit-and-run-crash-on-west-side","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/508994\/","title":{"rendered":"Dirt bike rider seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash on west side"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 24-year-old dirt bike rider was seriously injured after being hit by a dark-colored SUV in a hit-and-run crash on the west side of town, police say.<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014 SAN ANTONIO \u2014 Police are searching for the driver of an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a young man seriously injured Saturday night on the west side of San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were called to the intersection of West Martin Street and North Trinity around 8:10 p.m. for a major accident.<\/p>\n<p>According to San Antonio police, a 24-year-old man was riding a motorized dirt bike eastbound on West Martin when a driver in a dark-colored SUV failed to yield the right of way and struck him.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say the driver did not stop to help and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The dirt bike rider was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
