{"id":509116,"date":"2026-01-11T19:02:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T19:02:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/509116\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T19:02:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T19:02:25","slug":"sapd-man-robbed-at-gunpoint-while-trying-to-buy-game-console-on-northwest-side","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/509116\/","title":{"rendered":"SAPD: Man robbed at gunpoint while trying to buy game console on northwest side"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 23-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while trying to buy a game console, and the suspect ran off before police arrived.<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014 SAN ANTONIO \u2014 What was supposed to be a simple purchase turned into a robbery at gunpoint Saturday night on the northwest side of San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>San Antonio police say officers were called to the 11700 block of Braesview near NW Military Highway around 7:09 p.m. for reports of a robbery in progress.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, a 23-year-old man met up with a suspect to buy a game console. While they were talking, police say the suspect told the victim to follow him to retrieve the item.<\/p>\n<p>But instead of handing over the console, officers say the suspect pulled out a weapon, pointed it at the victim and demanded the money. The victim never received the console.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect ran off on foot before officers arrived.
