Police say a 24-year-old white male was driving a BMW when the car struck a guardrail, causing significant damage.<\/p>\n<p>When SAPD arrived at the scene, the driver had taken off on foot. Police located and apprehended the suspect a short distance away. It was during the arrest that officers allegedly found the suspect with drugs.<\/p>\n<p>The male was charged with possession of narcotics and evading arrest on foot.
